Fire & Security Alarm Technician
Abbreviated Job Description:
Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and configures security systems, closed circuit television
and fire detection systems.
Responds to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshoots and repairs as
needed.
Performs service tasks required to fulfill service requirements for time and material (T and M).
Completes necessary documentation.
Communicates with central dispatch on current work order status and receives updates on outstanding
work orders on a daily basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Clean Driving Record and Valid Florida Driver's License
Current Florida BASA / FASA card
At least two years experience in the electronic security protection industry.
Working knowledge of security panels, cctv and fire detection systems.
General knowledge of electronics, components, and construction. Ability to multi-task
and prioritize in a short period of time.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills for summarizing tasks performed for customer.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work overhead.
